Review ♡ Avon Mega Effects Mascara ♡

The Mega Effects Mascara from Avon is a new innovative mascara with an adjustable wand head allowing you to bend it to any angle and direction you need in order to coat each and every single lash that you may otherwise have missed when using any other regular mascara. One of the things I really like about this product is that the 'wonderbrush' head allows you to get right into the root of your lashes which makes them look so much thicker and voluminous!

Avon claims this mascara to be sweatproof and flakeproof, I would agree I haven't experienced either of those issues any of the times I've worn this mascara, however, one of the problems with this mascara I find is that the application can be a little bit tricky, it's definitely not a mascara I would recommend for quick out the door makeup! The formulation is quite wet and therefore when doing precise application, I find that my lashes often end up touching my skin which results in a few spots of mascara on my eyelid! It's not something that particularly bothers me as I do have naturally long lashes and this mascara really adds length and volume as you can see from the pictures, obviously the longer it makes your lashes the more likely you're going to end up touching your skin anyway.

I would say that packaging of this product is 'travel friendly'. It's plastic, lightweight, compact and even squeezable to get more product out when you think it's coming to the end of it's use. The brush handle is very small, but it does have a few little raised dot's which make it easier to grip.

I personally love this mascara, I do think it's more than just a gimmick and the 'wonderbrush' head really makes a difference to how your lashes get coated with product from root to tip and how easy it is to get the inner and outer corners by adjusting the wand to different angles. Not only do I think it's a great mascara for lengthening & volumising alone, I also like to use this mascara to separate my lashes and then add another volumising mascara on top. It's also great for bottom lashes!

I would definitely recommend you trying this product out to see if it works for you, you can see from the photo's the effect it has on my own eyelashes, it may take you a while to get to grips with the application but I do think once you do it will be worth it :)
